Great for keeping us a more comfortable temperature but can play havoc with long cathedral veils! After all you don’t want to be over taken by your veil as you walk down the aisle. Even if you are getting married in one of our beautiful churches you will still be having photos in outdoor locations so its certainly something to consider. If you decide you would like to wear a veil choose an elbow length or short veil – which are proving to be a strong trend currently anyway and make sure it has some style of weighting around the edge. The weighting/trim around the edge of the veil can take many forms such as beading, pearls or crystals. Think about the type, fabric and trim that will compliment your wedding dress and style of your wedding. If you are having a semi – formal or formal wedding a veil with a tiara attachment could be a good choice for you. It’s also a good idea to remember that you may want to have photos at your ceremony and afterwards with the veil and then maybe remove it for your reception. So pick a veil attachment style that will be able to be removed and disturb your hair style as little as possible. This is the part where bridesmaids and wedding planners come in handy.
