FEATURED WEDDINGS Cruise Ship Weddings
Visiting our beautiful island on a Cruise Ship and want to get married? No problem! There is no residency requirement in Saint Lucia which means that we can use the express license option and obtain your marriage license within a couple of hours of your ship arriving in port.
Everything will be totally planned ahead of time, so once you start your dream Caribbean cruise all you have to do is book your hair and make-up appointments with the ship’s salon, relax and look forward to arriving in Saint Lucia.
Venues close to the Cruise Ship port include:
~ Ocean View Garden
~ Historical Ruins
~ Wedding on the Water
We are unable to offer the Private Beach on a cruise ship day as it is utilised by cruise ship passengers during the day and therefore cannot be hired for privacy. However, if you choose to get married at either of the Ocean View Garden or Historical Ruins venues then you can have photos taken on the beach after your ceremony.
We do use a public beach close to the Cruise Ship terminal and it is a beautiful long stretch of largely unspoilt sandy beach. Whilst it is a public beach, it is not a resort beach so there is no water sport activity going on in the background or people sunbathing on loungers close by the ceremony area. It is a beach used mainly by locals for walking before work, swimming after work and liming during their lunch hour.
Facilities are limited at the public beach, so we do not recommend it for larger groups, but it is perfect for a couple eloping or a small group of family and friends up to around 6-8 people. This long, sweeping bay offers the most beautiful backdrops for photos, from the turquoise vastness of the Caribbean Sea to the lush, green rolling hills of the west coast of Saint Lucia.
